Her: Haha. Sux for you
Me: Oh well. It had to be done at some point.
Her: Yep

| Oklahoma Winter Storm II has kept me away from my friends and job and life since last Friday.
Why is it that, when I'm finally beginning to feel better about, well, everything, I get cut off from the very things that have carried me?
Then again...why am I surprised that it's happened this way?

| There's this series of children's videos that Max Lucado puts out that
really bothers me. The characters in it are all bugs. But
that's not what "bugs" me about it. (Aren't I clever?!)
Whenever one of these bugs is having a problem it just climbs to the
top of a leaf, looks at the sky (which is always blue with a couple
puffy clouds), and asks God a question.
And God answers...audibly.
I hate that.

| Highlight of 2006:
When it ended...finally.
Highlight of 2007:
Sleeping in my exquisitely comfortable bed after spending a week sleeping that rock hard bed in my old room in Tennessee.
Question:
What were some of your highlights?

| Thoughts:
_Deal or No Deal_ is a stupid game. Why do I watch it?
By Tuesday at 1:00, I'll know for a fact that it's possible to write,
rehearse, and perform succesfully a happy Christmas play with 20
teenagers in two weeks. Wish me luck.
Speaking of the Christmas play...I gave notes today!! During the
rehearsal, I wrote down notes and then gave them! I feel like
such a director! It's way cool.
I've only just now gotten the money to go Christmas shopping. I love Christmas shopping! It makes me happy.
I love this whole damn season. I also love that I shocked my
students to the core when I told them that Christmas was orginally a
pagan celebration that the Roman Catholics tacked Chrisitan
significance to so that the members of former Germanic tribes wouldn't
revolt.
Wish me luck on the show! and Merry Christmas!
